Gil Serrano
As a renowned service technician for Bay Area Pool Service, Gil Serrano has always wanted to “work for a growth oriented company which will allow [him] to learn and continually improve [his] skills.” His goal in the industry is to convey Bay Area’s vision through high performance and positive interactions with vendors, customers and co-workers.

Gil began his career in the pool and spa industry in 1997 as a service technician; he absorbed information on pool cleaning, filtration, and equipment like a sponge. Fourteen years later Gil continues to pursue further knowledge within the industry and continuously works towards being “service master” in Florida state.  Amongst coworkers and clients alike, Gil is known as the pool whisperer because he uses all five senses to diagnosis and fix a pool in distress.

Gil is now committed to his position as manager of the service department at Bay Area Pool Service and is proud to hold the title of 2011 Perfect PoolGuy title.

Jennifer Angevine
Jennifer’s first dip into the pool service industry began as a little girl assisting her father in basic pool service. Looking back on these memories Jennifer smiles as she now owns her own company, Gold Coast Swimming Pools. Jennifer is extremely well regarded by her employees and clients, constantly referred to as fair, honest, caring, exceedingly appreciative, and known to never take shortcuts.

A story her aunt Beth believes exemplifies her best characteristics begins with a bad storm. One of Jennifer’s customers requested her to stop by to look at a problem in person. Even in the middle of a storm Jen promised to get there right away. She jumped in her car and as she was driving, a tree fell three car lengths ahead. Immediately, Jennifer grabbed her saw, chopped up the tree, and tossed it to the side of the road... believe it or not, she made it to her appointment on time.

Jennifer’s amazing dedication to the industry and local community impresses Pleatco as much as her clients. She continues to pursue cutting edge technology and is dedicating to furthering her own education in the pool and spa industry. Jennifer is crowned 2011
Perfect PoolGal and could not be more proud.
