Pleatco History

For over 40 years, Pleatco has designed and manufactured water filtration systems for pools and spas.  Pleatco’s advanced filter cartridges and diatomaceous earth (DE) grids are used in pools and spas throughout the world.  Homeowners have trusted Pleatco filters to keep their pool or spa clean and safe, providing families with the peace of mind to focus on what’s important - Health and Happiness.

Pleatco’s goal is simple…to build the highest quality, most energy efficient filters possible. Why?  We focus on the long term and don’t believe in short-cuts.  We Care about our customers and hope to sell products that give the greatest value, always!  We are driven by an innate desire to build the highest quality, innovative products possible. Prosperity and having a better way of life is fostered by innovation. We live by the mantra of CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT in every facet of our business. Progress and incremental change are necessary, but at Pleatco, we’re conducting research to bring the next generation of products to the market.

In every product we design and build, we use the highest quality raw materials possible.  Further, all of our suppliers are well-known, multi-national companies with strong engineering capabilities.  By combining Pleatco’s engineering team with our partner’s talented staff, Pleatco is able to accelerate product innovation and to continually lead the market.

Over the past five years, the new owners of Pleatco have invested in building the most modern and technologically advanced facility in the industry. Having the finest equipment and systems is necessary to be an industry leader. However, none of this works without a highly skilled and dedicated work force. We try to bring out the best in our employees. Our people have the freedom to be creative and are encouraged to think “OUTSIDE” the box. Pleatco’s employees not only have responsibility, but the authority to make decisions. This enables our people to increase the speed of positive change and do what is necessary to take care of our customers.
