	Mason Black	I live in Coarsegold, Ca near Yosemite. I am a full time firefighter and on July 12, 2008 I was deployed to the Butte Fire in Northeast California. Our assignment was to protect lives and property along Highway 70 near Chico, Ca. After a 21 days on the line I returned home, expecting to find a green pool. My 13 year old son, (mason), has helped me with pool up-keep in the past but has never done all of the chemicals or regular maintenance on his own. When I came home I discovered that my son is truly the \"Prefect Poolguy\". The pool looks great and all the neighbors now want Mason to maintain their pools too. 	David Engelke Convenient Pool Supply & Spa	I am nominating David Engelke as our favorite pool guy (he is the guy in the center holding the dog). This is a family owned business well on its way to becoming a major servicer and supplier in the Peoria, Illinois area. David is well-known in our community as a caring (volunteered for American Red Cross Disaster Team during Hurricane Katrina and was head of a 250+ person shelter)responsible, dedicated person. While in Las Vegas a couple of years ago during the heavy (unusual) rain storms he attempted to pull a pedestrian from the street who had been electrocuted and was lying face down in the street in a pool of water by taking his belt and looping it on to her while two other patrons held on to him ...And they pulled her out of the water..Unfortunately this young mother of four was not able to be saved and later passed at the hospital..but futile efforts by David and the other two patrons were not left unnoticed!!! David worked at Convenient Pool Supply through high school, through his college years at Bradley University and three years ago purchased this company from his mentor. He finds great satisfaction in continuing to personally service his pool customers along with his employees by going out on jobs, opening pool, maintenancing pools and overseeing day to day operations in the field and in the office. He is a Wish Grantor for the Make-A-Wish foundation as his younger brother, Clayton, (laying across top of photo) was a recipient of a Make-A-Wish as he is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia through St. Jude. I dedicate myself to my job any chance i get and i REALLY need a vacation. My company makes me drive 700 miles from North Carolina to work for them during the pool season and that means alot to me. That means the company cherishes my work and so do the customers. I enjoy everyday I come into work and put forth my best effort at all times. You have to be in it 150% at all times to keep the business going and to keep the customers happy.

	Tom Rodenborn Lakeshore Pools	Heres Tom in the pouring rain dropping in my pool, always with a smile on his face, nothing too much trouble. Very professional, excellent work crew. Told me how to look after the pool took time to explain everything to me and very patient, calm and good sense of humor too. I would recommend Tom Rodenborn to anyone I know who wants a pool installed, cleaned, set up or anything else to do with the installation of a pool. He returns regulary to check to see if I have the chemicals balanced, still with a smile on his face and absolutely no problem for him even though he has to drive 2 hours to get here and two hours back home. Again great experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
	chris rondeau Bonnyville water conditioning	Servicing hot tubs in the great white north is VERY challenging. I have gone out to service calls at 11:00 PM in the middle of a blizzard to save a hot tub from going popsicle. There is no feeling like having your body frozen to the ground at -30 and needing the steam truck warming the spa to thaw you out. 	Gregory Smith	Greg is a year round Pool Guy from Florida and always has a cheerful disposition. He goes out of his way to make sure our customers are happy. A week does not go by that a customer will call to tell us what a great guy he is and what a terrific job he does. He adopted a puppy who was going to be put down because he had been kicked by a horse and his leg/hip was shattered. After surgery Greg took an old spa and repaired it to use for Hydro-therapy for PD (Poor Dog). PD is now able to run and play thanks to OUR POOL GUY GREG!
